This cheat sheet covers Old Quarter/Tay Ho pickups, Lao Bao immigration, shared seats, and the 90-day Vietnam E-Visa desk.
Timeline
Expect ~14 hours door-to-door. We collect riders 04:00–05:30, drive the Ho Chi Minh Highway + QL217, reach Lao Bao around 09:00, wrap immigration by noon, eat in Thanh Hoa, and return to Hanoi around 18:00–20:00 depending on traffic.
Old Quarter, Tay Ho, Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, Gia Lam, Long Bien, and Soc Son. We can meet at Noi Bai or Ocean Park with advance notice.
Private SUV/shared van, bilingual driver, tolls, fuel, Lao Bao fixers, snacks, water, and WhatsApp updates. Laos visa fees and Vietnam E-Visa costs are extra.
Immigration
Yes. Our Thanh Hoa fixer handles Laos visa-on-arrival paperwork, fees, and escorts you between the Vietnamese and Lao counters. Visa-exempt travelers still follow them for stamp sequencing.
Passport valid 6+ months, Vietnam visa/TRC or e-Visa printout, two spare 4×6 photos, onward travel proof if needed, and USD cash for Laos fees. Shared-seat riders should pack light (carry-on size).
Upload passport + portrait before departure. Once Laos stamps you out, we submit Standard, Fast, or Rush tiers and send updates by email + WhatsApp until the approval PDF arrives.
Payments & policies
Private cars: pay cash (VND/USD) or bank transfer upon return to Hanoi. Shared seats: pay before departure. E-Visa and push services accept VND, Wise, or Revolut.
Free cancellations up to 24 hours before pickup. Same-day cancellations incur 50% because drivers/fixers are already deployed. Shared seats can be rolled to the next departure with 12 hours notice.
Yes—Noi Bai meetups, multi-van groups, luggage trailers, company invoices, or direct drop-offs in Ninh Binh/Thanh Hoa. Just note it on the booking form or ping WhatsApp +84 369 308 237.
